Lehi is Utah’s sixth oldest city and rich in pioneer history. Originally settled by Mormons moving west from New York, the settlement has had many names during its history, including Sulfur Springs, Snow’s Spring, and Evansville.
The city became incorporated in 1852 as Lehi City and soon began to grow, following connections to both the Transcontinental Telegraph and the Overland Stagecoach route.
