Orthodontic work provided at Zurcher Orthodontics isn’t just for the teenagers of Draper, Utah, but for anyone who craves a new and improved smile. When people think of the orthodontist, they immediately think of metal braces. We are happy to inform every member of our community that we offer more than traditional metal braces and are happy to help you with a treatment best fitting to your lifestyle.
Although treating children's teeth can be easier due to their malleability, adults can experience an easy-going orthodontic treatment.
The main orthodontic treatment in our office is traditional metal braces due to the number of teenagers that find themselves in our chair. Some think that metal braces are specifically for children, but we are here to inform you that that is false! We have many adults who have significantly benefited from metal braces and are pleased with their final outcome. These types of braces use metal brackets and archwires to slowly form your smile. This can take between 5 months to a few years depending on the individual's circumstances.
There isn’t a huge difference between metal and ceramic braces other than the fact that ceramic braces are more subtle and “clear”. Each bracket and archwire is a white shade to blend into your natural tooth color that makes them hard to see. Many adults look into this option to try to fix their smiles in a subtle way. Treatment can take from 1 ½ - 3 years.
An invisible way to receive orthodontic treatment without brackets or wires! Our custom-made Clear Aligners have given a way for our adult patients to straighten their teeth without drawing attention to their smile during treatment. On average, treatment time can range from 12 to 18 months.
Each one of our treatment options for adults can help you achieve the smile you want. To learn more, please see more detailed writings of each treatment. If you are an adult who has been desiring to do something about their smile, now is the time to come in and see us. Helping the residents of Draper, Utah is what we are best at!
